Chantalle is the Director of Student Life and institutional lead for safeguarding and Prevent.

Prior to joining the university, she worked in various roles within education including Further Education (FE), private training provision and prisons and brings over 20 years of knowledge and experience. 

Building on undergraduate and qualificatory study in the areas of communication and information, advice and guidance (IAG), Chantalle continued her academic development through the achievement of a Post Graduate Certificate in Careers Education, Advice, and Guidance in Higher Education (PGCEIAG) and a Masters in Education Studies.  

Chantalle leads student services in the areas of library, academic skills, disability, mental health and wellbeing, counselling, student finance and faith; as well as leading and collaborating on institutional developments in the areas of inclusivity, equality, diversity, employability and student experience.

The Directorate of Student Life brings together a range of services which offer integral support as well also opportunities for continuing development.
